CANCER RESEARCH UK BIG HIKE
I was commissioned by Cancer Research UK to photograph one of its Big Hike events in the Lake District, where hundreds of fundraisers tackled routes of 10km, 20km or a full marathon through some fairly spectacular and occasionally fairly steep countryside.

The brief meant telling the story of the day while moving around a route: photographing participants setting off and finishing, the volunteers and event infrastructure around them, and smaller groups out on the trail, while also showing the landscape that makes the event what it is. The resulting pictures were made for use across Cancer Research UK's campaign, marketing and digital channels.
