Live Music

From the main stages of the world's biggest festivals down to 100-capacity sweat boxes, I love photographing musicians presenting their work live and in the moment. As a musician and performer myself, I intuitively understand the ebb and flow of a live show, and am able to anticipate where a frontperson might go next, ready to freeze a moment in time.

Technically skillful but also instinctive under the time pressure of shooting live music, I create unique images that reveal something unexpected about the show unfolding in front of me.
